from initial concept

to the completed job

– all under one roof…

For more than 30 years we have built a business to be proud of. Our customers love us because it is so unusual to find the kind of customer care shown by PMT Print.

We are not a high street print shop – we feel printing is a much more interesting and useful product than just putting ink onto the cheapest, flimsiest sheet of paper. Our customers really appreciate the advice given about even the smallest job. We can pay you a visit with all kinds of paper and print samples. We offer a huge range of finishes including spot UV varnish, lamination, foil blocking, blind embossing and die cutting – in other words all ways to make your printing stand-out from your competitors!

We want to offer a more bespoke print service and yet in print costs it will still be incredibly good value for money. With PMT ‘different’ doesn’t mean ‘expensive’. We take great pleasure and pride in producing items that our customers are absolutely delighted with.

accurately cut,

not only does our finishing department trim, fold, staple/stitch, crease & bind your product, we also offer a range of finishing services to enhance your product, including spot UV varnish, lamination, foil blocking, blind embossing and die cutting, meaning the complete process – design-print-finishing is carried out completely in-house, ensuring the turnaround of your work is completed quickly & accurately.

litho

for short to long run,
black & white to full colour…

Running Heidelberg presses, we offer the highest quality print in quantities from 500 copies up to millions on an incredible array of paper and card in weights up to around 450gsm.

Compared to other printing methods, offset/litho printing is best suited for cost-effectively producing large volumes of high quality prints in an economically sound manner. Lithography is the most common method of producing printed matter. A few of its common applications include: newspapers, magazines, brochures, stationery and books.

PMT Printing use a computer to plate system as opposed to the older computer to film workflow, which further increases quality. Advantages of offset printing compared to other printing methods include:

Consistent high image quality. Offset printing produces sharp and clean images and type because the rubber blanket conforms to the texture of the printing surface.

Cost. Offset printing is the cheapest method to produce high quality printing in commercial printing quantities.

…quality & service at a competitive price

digital & variable print

ready to tackle a diverse
range of jobs with superb
image quality & colour…

We have been printing using Xerox digital presses for the past 11 years. We can print up to 400gsm weight card in a silk, gloss or uncoated finish. Perfect for short run, high quality printing.

Digital printing services have completely revolutionised the printing process. Short run printing makes it possible for small quantities to be ordered at competitive print costs and a much faster turnaround for the printed materials.

Variable Data printing.

Since digital printing does not use a static plate in its printing process you can incorporate variable data printing into your documents. Each brochure, flyer, post card or direct mail piece can be individually personalized with your customer’s name or account information. Variable data printing can result in much higher response rates which leads to higher profits.

You can also add a final finish to your digitally printed job. Sheets can be die-cut, gloss or matt laminated.

great design…

Well printed materials are a key component when it comes to branding and communicating with customers and staff, but good design is a must.

When something is really well designed it works well, looks right and sparks an emotional connection.

We have a very strong graphic design team that can make a real difference to the impact of your marketing:

  • Logos
  • Stationery (business cards, letterheads, compliments slips etc.)
  • Literature (including brochures, booklets, catalogues, newsletters, leaflets/flyers, folders, presentations etc.)
  • Point of Sale materials (swing tickets, tent cards, restaurant menus, window stickers, posters, banners etc.)
  • Adverts
  • Promotional (postcards, greetings/Christmas cards, badges, bags, calendars, car wraps etc.)
  • Packaging (food and alcohol a speciality)

The team work closely with our print department to get their input right from the start. This ensures the printed end result will live up to whatever fantastic ideas are created at the design stage. This close collaboration between design and production has several advantages:

  • The designers make the most of print possibilities
    and techniques
  • Briefs are executed in the most cost effective way
  • There are no unwanted last-minute problems to cause delay
  • The end results live up to expectations.
